Your data stays on your device

FabCostEstimator runs entirely in your browser. Your cut lists, material prices, labor rates, and quotes are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or seen by us. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Clearing your browser's site data erases everything.

No cookies, no tracking identifiers

This site sets no cookies and stores no advertising or tracking identifiers. That's why there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to.

Anonymous usage counts

To understand which features are useful, we count anonymous usage events (for example, "a quote was printed") using PostHog. These events carry a random identifier that exists only for the duration of your visit and is never stored on your device; they contain no personal data and none of your quote contents, dimensions, or prices. We also use Cloudflare's aggregate, cookieless traffic analytics (page counts and performance timing). Neither can identify you or follow you across sites.

Material prices

The default prices shown are fetched from commodity references when the site is built — on our infrastructure, not from your browser. Prices you type in are saved only in your browser's local storage, like everything else.
